Contaminated Land Specialist

Penelope holds a master's degree in geology from the University of Auckland and joined WWLA's Contaminated Land team in Whangārei in November 2020 after six years professional industry involvement.

Penelope has a range of experience across Northland and Auckland in the contaminated land sector, including soil, groundwater and surface water investigations of contaminated sites, asbestos remediation, closed landfill management, consenting applications and compliance under NESCS and local government requirements, construction monitoring, and long-term management plans.

In her spare time Penelope is normally knitting or sewing, and also enjoys making the most of Northland's beaches.
