Managing Director, Principal Hydrologist

Jon is the Managing Director and Principal Hydrologist at WWLA.

Jon has an M.Sc.Tech. (Hons 1) from the University of Waikato and spent over 20 years with global multidisciplinary consultancies in both Auckland and Sydney, before establishing WWLA in 2015.

Jon is a trusted advisor to a diverse range of clients gained through his pragmatic advice, underpinned by expert understanding of a diverse range of hydrological systems and how they respond to change, and an innate ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and options to problem solving. Jon always strives to provide accurate and timely advice to clients, recognising the utmost importance of timeliness and cost efficiency.

In his spare time Jon enjoys swim training, surfing, fishing and is owner of Team Williamson - a NZ based international competition dressage (equestrian) stable.
