Contaminated Land Scientist

Yuli is a Contaminated Land Scientist at WWLA. She first started work as a Graduate Geologist from 2019 to 2020, and then rejoined again in 2024. She has an MSc in Earth Science (geology) from the University of Auckland.

Yuli has valuable experience from her prior work with WWLA which included working on a variety of contaminated land and acid sulfate soils projects. She has a formal background in research, data analysis, reporting, GIS, fieldwork, sustainability, conceptual graphic design and science communication. She also has experience in events, community spaces, copy editing and visual arts.

She is passionate about high-quality work to inform high-quality decision-making for people and the environment.

In her (precious little) spare time she enjoys reading books and stomping around Aotearoa's beautiful backyard.
